Last years national champion Florida Gators take on the Undefeated Big East Champion Cincinnati Bearcats in the 76th annual Sugar Bowl game in New Orleans. Making their 8th appearence in the annual game (1966, 1974, 1992, 1994, 1995, 1997 and 2001), Florida looks to unseat Cincinnati from the ranks of the undefeated and give Tim Tebow a win in his final game as a Florida Gator. For the third year in a row, The Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans will feature an undefeated team in the Cincinnati Bearcats. This will be Cincinnati's first appearence in the Sugar Bowl. The Sugar Bowl is an annual American college football bowl game played in the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Sugar Bowl has been played annually since 1935. Along with the Orange Bowl and Sun Bowl (also played annually since 1935), the Sugar Bowl is the second-oldest bowl game in the country, behind the Rose Bowl (first played 1902, played annually since 1916). The Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles will play against the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders on December 20, 2009 at the New Orleans Bowl sponsered by R&L Carriers. Middle Tennessee, the Sun Belt Conference runner-up, will make their first appearence in the New Orleans Bowl and fourth appearence for Southern Mississippi (Winning all of their previous games 31-10 against N. Texas in 2004, 31-19 against Arkansas St. in 2005 and Last year 30-27 overtime victory over Sun Belt Conference Champion Troy).BUY TICKETS

The New Orleans Bowl started in 2001 and is annually played in the Louisiana Superdome this year on December 21, 2008. The New Orleans Bowl is a post-season college football bowl game certified by the NCAA that has been played annually at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana since 2001. The game was sponsored by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts from 2002 to 2004 and was officially called the Wyndham New Orleans Bowl.
